Resources

For my project, I have decided to research the history behind Carnaval and where it originated from. In order to complete my research, I have used numerous resources which consist of two articles about the history and evolution of Carnival,  two articles about samba and dances that are dominant in the festival, and two other articles that talk about the costumes used and the stylists. I have also included an original video from 1955 and two pictures from 1969.

Obstacles
​

  1. Before doing my research I was planning on interviewing multiple Carnival organizations, about what their input and thoughts are on the festival. However, all seven of the organizations have failed to get back to me and answer my questions, which left me without the information desired.
